Francis has spent almost 15 years in the audit of well-known local and multinational companies from such diverse industries as banking and finance, construction, engineering, food processing, gaming and entertainment, insurance, printing and publishing, property development, stock brokerage, transportation services and wholesale trade.

Francis holds a Master in Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (major in accountancy), with academic distinction, from San Beda College.

Francis attended the International Partners' Development Programme conducted by GTI for young partners in London, Brussels and the U.S. in 2005 and 2006.  Francis also participated in the 2006 Pacific Rim Bankers' Program conducted by the University of Washigton in Seattle and San Francisco.
