P&A's Araullo receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Punongbayan & Araullo (P&A) Chairman Emeritus Jose G. Araullo is this year’s recipient of the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice’s (ACPAPP) Lifetime Achievement Award.
Araullo was recognized for his professional, civic and social advocacies, his commitment to the improvement of the professional practice and his positive contribution to Philippine business and economic progress.
Together with Ben Punongbayan, Araullo established P&A in 1988 as a seven-man accounting firm with bedrock values of integrity, quality and excellence. Through his role as co-managing partner for 15 years, Araullo helped grow the partnership to what it is today – one of the largest in the country with more than 500 personnel and four offices nationwide, and the Philippine member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, one of the leading organizations of independently owned and managed accounting and consulting firms in the world.
