Lina P. Figueroa

Principal, Tax Advisory & Compliance

Lina leads the preparation of the monthly Tax Brief and other publications and alerts intended to ensure that technical staff members are apprised on the developments in tax laws, regulations and rulings and their implications. She is also a member of the transfer pricing team that assists clients in preparing transfer pricing documentation and addressing transfer pricing concerns.

Work experience

Prior to joining P&A, Lina was a chief technical officer at the indirect taxes branch of the Senate Tax Study and Research Office.  She was also an assistant chief at the Research and Information Division of Department of Finance and a senior tax specialist at the National Tax Research Center.  She also worked as consultant in various USAID projects on public finance and local tax administration and taught economics subjects in college.
