P&A's new COO

Benjamin Punongbayan, the founder of Punongbayan & Araullo (P&A), named Ma. Victoria Españo managing partner – Chief Operating Officer. 

Gregorio Navarro remains the company's managing partner and chief executive officer. 

Españo’s expertise lies in taxation, where she has more than 15 years of experience in both tax consulting and compliance. 

Españo is a certified public accountant and holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. 

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Philippine Normal College where she graduated cum laude. 

She took up leadership and management development studies at Harvard Business School, Northwestern University and AIM.

Punongbayan also announced he would relinquish his management role at P&A but he would remain a partner in inactive status.
