Public Interest Entities

The roster of clients of the Firm includes a total of 63 public interest entities for which statutory audits have been carried out for 2008.

We define public interest entities to include clients whose shares are traded in a stock exchange, regulated companies such as banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, and other companies that are of significant public relevance (i.e., those companies with total assets of at least P50 million and with 200 or more shareholders, each of whom holds at least 100 shares).
