Work experience

Michael started his professional career at P&A, where he was a financial and information systems auditor from 1995 to 1999. He then joined a global building materials company where he served as internal audit manager, Sarbanes-Oxley manager, and regional internal control manager (for their Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia region). During his 12-year stay with the company, he was assigned to their offices in the Philippines, Spain, and the United Kingdom. His experience in accountancy is further strengthened by his stint as a faculty member at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and at De La Salle Araneta University
