Boyet has been in public accounting since he started his professional career in 1997. He has gained solid experience in the audit of local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries, including banking, financial services, information technology, manufacturing and construction.

A magna cum laude graduate of Divine Word College-Tagbilaran, Boyet was president of both JPIA-Divine Word and the Bohol Federation of JPIAs.  He started his professional career in public accounting at P&A in 1997, after obtaining the highest overall rating in the October 1997 CPA examinations. 

As a P&A scholar at the Master of Business Management (MBM) Program of AIM, he spent part of his studies as an exchange student at the Amos Tuck School of Business of Dartmouth College in the U.S.  He also successfully completed Level I of the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) examinations.
